Intern – Data Science

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated Python Development Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in backend development, API creation, and working with databases. You will collaborate with experienced developers and contribute to real-world projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python-based applications.
• Work with SQL databases to write queries and optimize performance.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs for various applications.
• Ensure API performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Understand and implement load balancing techniques for API optimization.
• Conduct API testing and debugging for performance improvements.
• Collaborate with the team to design and develop scalable backend solutions.
• Use Django (if applicable) for web application development.
• Ensure timely and quality delivery of assigned tasks.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Knowledge of SQL and ability to write queries efficiently.
• Familiarity with API development using REST principles.
• Good understanding of load balancers, API performance, and testing.
• Basic understanding of Django (preferred but not mandatory).
• Ability to take ownership and stay committed to project deadlines.
